This is the torment of Hell for people who do not fast

Ramadan fasting is obligatory for all Muslims who have reached puberty, are sensible, healthy, not menstruating or postpartum. But in fact, there are still people who abandon Ramadan fasting. In fact, there is a terrible threat to people who do not fast during Ramadan without reasons justified by the Shari'a.

The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, was shown by God through His angels, how the punishment of hell is for those who do not fast.

In an authentic hadith narrated by Ibn Khuzaimah and Ibn Hibban, the Prophet said about a condition of the inhabitants of hell that was shown to him:

Then I saw people hanging by their hocks with their jaws split open and blood flowing from their buttocks. He said, I said: Who are these? He said: Those who break their fast before the end of their fast

"I saw people hanging by their heels, their jawbones broken and blood dripping. I asked, 'Who are they?' He replied, 'Those who break their fast before it is lawful for them to break their fast'" (HR. Ibn Khuzaimah and Ibn Hibban)

In Sahih At Targhib wa At Tarhib, it is explained that the meaning of people who break their fast before it is permissible for them to break their fast is to break their fast before its time. In general, it means not fasting. That's why this hadith chapter is titled "The threat of not fasting in the month of Ramadan without an excuse."

Such is the threat of hell for those who do not fast. As for Muslims who fast on the basis of faith and only hope for reward from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, He will grant forgiveness for the sins of those servants who have passed.

As the Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.

"Whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan on the basis of faith and hoping for a reward from God, his past sins will be forgiven" (HR. Al Bukhari and Muslim)

In addition, for Muslims who fast, God provides joy when the servant meets Him. God also provides a special door in heaven called Ar Rayan for His servants who are experts in fasting. [Muchlisin BK/Bersamadakwah]
