This is the Prophet's Service
The needs of the inhabitants of the earth for the Messengers 'alaihimush namaz was salam are not the same as their needs for the sun, moon, wind and rain. It cannot even be equated with the human need for life, nor is it the same as the human eyeball's need for light, nor is it the same as the body's need for food and drink. Even more than that.
Know, may God have mercy on you, that the position of the Messengers 'alaihimush shalatu was salam is an intermediary between God and His servants in conveying His commands and prohibitions. They are God's messengers to His creatures, inviting people to carry out God's religious teachings, delivering God's message and guiding them to God's straight path.
Through whom do humans get God's grace?
The Messenger of Allah Muhammad bin Abdillah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam who is the cover of the Prophets and the Apostles shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam , the leader, the foremost and most noble of them by Allah Ta'ala, Allah Ta'ala has sent to be a mercy to the universe ,
And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds.
"And We did not send you, but to (become) a mercy to the worlds" (QS. Al-Anbiyaa`: 107).
Shaykh Abdur Rahman As-Sa'di Rahimahullah said,
Then he praised His Messenger, who came with the Qur’an, and said: {And We did not send you except as a mercy to the worlds} so it is His mercy that is bestowed upon His servants.
"Then Allah praised His Messenger who brought the Revelation of the Qur'an, by saying وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ , then he is a form of His affection that is bestowed upon His servants" (Tafsir As-Sa'di, p. 618).
Al-Baghawi , may God have mercy on him, said,
[Ibn Abbas said: It is general in the right of those who believe and those who do not believe, so whoever believes, it is a mercy for him] in this world and the Hereafter, and whoever does not believe, it is a mercy for him in this world by delaying the punishment for them
Ibnu Abbas explained, 'This (about his existence as a mercy) is general in nature, both a mercy for believers and non-believers. Whoever believes, he becomes a blessing for him] in this world and the hereafter. As for the person who does not believe, then he is a mercy for him in the World (only) in the form of ending the torment of that person'". (Tafsir Al-Baghawi: 196).
By sending the Messenger of Allah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam to us, it means that Allah loves us, by sending down the revelation brought by him sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam which contains guidance to every good and keeps people away from every evil. Rasulullah sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam also loved us, by explaining the revelation with the best explanation and giving examples of how to practice it. He is very dear to his people, so that there is not a single good thing except he shows it and there is not a single bad thing except he warns the people of it. He , may God bless him and grant him peace , is the mercy of the world.
God also obliges His servants to obey him, love him, glorify him, and fulfill his rights. He was also sent by God as a proof for all His creatures.
Who taught Allah's guidance to this people so that they could come out of the darkness into the light?
Allah Subhanahu sent him, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, when the messengers of the Messengers, peace be upon them, were empty , when he distorted the book of Allah before the Qur'an and replaced it with the teachings of the sharia before Islam. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said,
((Indeed, God looked at the people of the earth, so their Arabs and non-Arabs hated them, except for remnants from the People of the Book.)
"Indeed Allah looks at the inhabitants of the earth, He really hates them, both Arabs and non-Arabs except for people from the People of the Book (who still adhere to their pure religion)" (Narrated by Imam Muslim: 2865). Such was the condition of the people when the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam was sent , many of them sank into shirk and corruption.
Then Allah gave them guidance , explained to them the path of truth, brought them out of darkness into light by sending the Messenger of Allah , may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to them, Allah said,
...God has sent down to you a reminder
... Verily Allah has sent down a warning upon you,
A Messenger reciting to you the clear verses of God to bring forth those who believe and do righteous deeds out of darkness into light. and does righteous deeds, He will admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. God has bestowed provision for him
(And sent) a Messenger who recites to you the verses of Allah that explain (various laws) so that He may bring out those who believe and do righteous deeds from darkness to light. And whoever believes in God and does righteous deeds, God will admit him into the Heavens beneath which rivers flow; they remain in it forever. Indeed, God gave him good sustenance. (Ath-Thalaaq: 10-11).
Through the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam ah Allah makes the blind to see, the crooked to become straight. Allah made him sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam as the person who explained the difference between Heaven and Hell, the difference between their paths and the difference between their people. May Allah make guidance and good fortune to be found in following him, may God bless him and grant him peace, as well as misguidance and misery in disobeying and deviating from his guidance, may God bless him and grant him peace.
How can humans survive the torment in the grave?
Allah Ta'ala tested the creatures in the grave by asking them questions about him, may God bless him and grant him peace.
On the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him: on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: ((When a servant is placed in his grave and turns away and his companions leave until he hears the sound of their shoes, he comes to him They made him sit down and said to him: What did you say about this man, Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace? He is the servant of God and His Messenger, and it will be said: Look at your seat in Hell, may God replace it with a seat in Paradise. He, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: So he sees them all, and as for the infidel or the hypocrite, he says, “I don’t know.” Did you know that you didn't follow, then he gets hit? struck him with an iron hammer between his ears, and he cried out with a shriek, which could be heard by those next to him except for human beings.))
From Anas radhiallahu 'anhu, from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said, " Indeed a servant is placed in his grave and his companions have returned home, and his friends have left until he really listens to the friction of their sandals. Came to him two angels, so both of them sat him down and asked him, 'What do you think about this person (namely the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam)? As for a believer will answer, 'I testify that he is a servant of Allah and His Messenger'. So it was said to him, 'Look at your place in Hell, indeed Allah has replaced it with a place in Heaven. So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said, "Then he saw the two places . As foran infidel or a hypocrite, then he will answer, "I don't know, I used to just say what most people say." So it was said to him, "You do not know and do not follow those who understand." Then he was hit with a large sledgehammer made of iron with a single blow between his ears, so he screamed with a scream that could be heard by all around him except by two creatures (jinn and human)." (HR. Al-Bukhari: 1338 and Muslim: 2870).
How can someone answer questions in the grave, if they do not know and love the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and his teachings, do not follow him and disobey him?
How can you know the way of worship that God wants?
So unfortunately the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam to us, thus teaching us that the purpose of human life is to know Allah and worship Him alone. He doesn't even let us get confused about how to worship the true God, he even patiently and painstakingly teaches us how to worship.
The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam once taught prayer, by saying,
Pray as you have seen me praying
" And pray as you see me praying " (Narrated by Al-Bukhari and others).
The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, also taught the Hajj procedure, by saying,
Take your rites from me, for I do not know whether I will not perform Hajj after this Hajj of mine.
"Take from me the rituals of your pilgrimage, because in fact I do not know, maybe I will not perform Hajj after this pilgrimage of mine" (HR. Muslim).
The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, once taught his people,
Whoever performs ablution like this ablution of mine and then prays two rak'ahs without distracting himself, Allah will forgive his previous sins.
'Whoever performs ablution like my ablution and then prays two rak'ahs, does not say a word in his soul (khusyu') in those two rak'ahs, then Allah will forgive his past sins.'" (HR. Bukhari and Muslim) .
How can you enter Heaven?
The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam taught his people tips so that they go to Heaven,
All of my nation will enter Paradise except those who refuse. They said: O Messenger of God, who would refuse? He said Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise and whoever disobeys me has refused
" Every one of my people will definitely go to heaven except those who refuse. ” They asked, “ Who refuses, O Messenger of Allah? He replied, " Whoever obeys me will surely enter Paradise and whoever disobeys me will be the one who refuses" (HR. al-Bukhari)
How great is the service of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam to us, then it is appropriate if everything that Muslims do, he gets a reward like the reward of their deeds!
And Imam Muslim narrated from Abu Mas'ud 'Uqbah bin 'Amr Al-Anshori Radhiyallahu 'anhu , he said the Prophet Shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
Whoever guides to something good will have a reward similar to that of its doer.
" Whoever shows kindness, then he gets a reward according to the reward of the doer ".
Therefore the Ulama have explained that for everything that is done by Muslims, he gets a reward according to the reward of their deeds without reducing their reward in the slightest, because he is the one who shows them all the good deeds.
