Worship Info, Sunnah Practices during Eid Al-Fitr
Worship Info, Sunnah Practices during Eid Al-Fitr - Muslims around the world have two major holidays, namely Eid al-Fitr and I al-Adha . After we carry out fasting for a full month in the month of Ramadan, we finally find a happy day, namely Eid al-Fitr. Ahead of the holiday in Indonesia there are many traditions that follow, one of which is going home to the village or place of origin.
When is Eid al-Fitr
Eid al-Fitr is held on 1 Shawwal or after we fast in Ramadan for 1 full month.
The lawful Eid prayer is a sunnah of muakad for all mankind. However, the sunnah muakad will feel empty if we don't carry out the recommended practices to add to the virtues of Eid al-Fitr.
The following are the practices of the Sunnah of Eid al-Fitr that you need to know and practice
1. Read the Takbir after the Fajr prayer and the 'Eid al-Fitr prayer
2. Take a bath before prayer
"Shower every day you want." The guy said, That's not what I meant, but a shower is a shower (recommended).
Ali replied, "Friday, Arafat day, Nahr day and Fitri day ."
Ibn Qudamah said that because Eid is the day when Muslims gather to pray, it is customary for him to take a bath just like Friday.
3. It is recommended to use perfume (for men)
Nafi' narrated about Abdullah bin Umar Radhiyallahu'anhu during Eid: "He prayed the dawn prayer in congregation with the imam, then he went home to take a bath as the Janaba bath, then he dressed in the best, and put on the best perfume he had, then he went out went to the prayer area and sat until the imam came, then when the imam came to pray with him, after that he went to the mosque of the Prophet Shallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam and prayed two rak'ahs , then returned home."
4. Eat first before leaving for the Eid prayer
While celebrating Eid al-Adha we are advised to eat after carrying out the Eid prayer. However, on Eid al-Fitr we are sunnah to eat before carrying out the Eid prayer. This is based on the hadith from Anas Bin Malik which was narrated by Bukhari which said: "The Prophet SAW did not go out in the morning of Eid al-Fitr so that Prophet Muhammad SAW ate date seeds....."
5. Passing different roads when going home and going
From Jabir ra said, "It is the Prophet SAW. When it's Eid, pass a different road (between going home and going)." (Sahih: Al Misyah no: 1434 and Fathul Bari II: 472 no: 968).
6. Brushing teeth
7. Wear the best clothes
Good clothes mean that they have to be new, okay? We just choose the clothes we have that are the most appropriate to wear, then wear those clothes.
Thus the writing of the editor of the king of knowledge regarding sunnah practices on Eid al-Fitr , may our sins be forgiven by Allah SWT. Minal Aidzin Wal Faizin, Sorry to be born and inner to all readers of the King of Science article.
