HISTORY OF THE FOUNDATION OF ARSENAL, READ THIS

Arsenal was founded in the Woolwich area, southeast of London in 1886 under the name Dial Square, then quickly changed its name to Royal Arsenal. In 1891 their name changed to Woolwich Arsenal. In 1913, the club moved north to Highbury and built Highbury Stadium, which became their new headquarters. When I moved that location, their club's first name, namely Woolwich, was removed so that only the name Arsenal remained. In addition, because the location of the Arsenal stadium is close to the Tottenham Hotspur headquarters, it is not surprising that the Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur match is called the "North London derby" and is one of the hottest derbies in London.

Arsenal's triumph in English football was first started by coach Herbert Chapman who coached in the 1925-35 range and managed to win several English domestic competitions (FA Cup, Premier League title and Charity Shield) while dominating it and making Arsenal the most dominant force in England. England at that time. In the 1940s-1960s range, Arsenal could only add a little to their collection of domestic titles. In the early 1970s, Arsenal managed Arsenal's best performance in Europe for the first time which occurred in the 1969-70 season, in the Fairs Cup (predecessor of the UEFA Cup).

Arsenal won the first and last time in the Fairs Cup (the Fairs Cup was replaced by the UEFA Cup since the 1971-72 season) after beating the RSC Anderlecht club 4-3 on aggregate (with a home and away system). At that time, the club was coached by Bertie Mee. Throughout the 1980s, Arsenal managed to add to Arsenal's collection with several domestic titles, but not with titles from European competitions.

In 1991, Arsenal won together with Tottenham in the Community Shield after a 0-0 draw (at that time, if the position was a draw, both teams were considered champions). Arsenal's fast for a title from European competition finally disappeared after the 1993-94 season, at the hands of coach George Graham, Arsenal won again on the European stage, to be precise in the Cup Winners' Cup after beating Parma FC with a score of 1-0. In the following season, Arsenal again made it to the final at the same event, but this time they were beaten by Real Zaragoza with a score of 2-1.

The arrival of coach Arsène Wenger to Arsenal in 1996 managed to make Arsenal return to glory and managed to break Manchester United's dominance in the English Premier League at that time. Arsenal also brought him to become runners-up in the UEFA Cup in 2000 after fighting Galatasaray on penalties 4-1 after a draw. In the 2003-04 season until the start of the 2004-05 season, Arsenal managed to score a record of 49 unbeaten games and break Nottingham Forest FC's record (42 times), which is the longest unbeaten streak in English football history. In the 2005-06 season, Arsenal regained his achievements on the European arena by becoming a Champions League finalist after losing to FC Barcelona 2-1 at the Stade de France, Paris.

Arsène Wenger

Arsenal during Wenger's coaching had a good policy in coaching young players who were not qualified or quality players but were not well known to become players who were able to show extraordinary talents as well as being targeted by Europe's top clubs. In addition, Arsenal has a policy of awarding contracts to players who are over 30 years old, which is no more than one season.

In December 2011 Arsenal celebrated the 125th anniversary since the club was founded in 1886. The celebration was with the unveiling of statues of three Arsenal legends namely Herbert Chapman, Tony Adams and Thiery Henry. Changes have also occurred to the London club logo with the addition of the word Forward and oak leaves. Arsenal itself on that birthday ended its position in the English league in third place and its striker Robin van Persie became its top scorer.
