HISTORY OF FOOTBALL SHOES, READ THIS

Soccer shoes are one of the things that a soccer player must pay attention to, because soccer shoes are one of the things that determine a player's soccer game. And just so you know, it turns out that the use of soccer shoes has a long history and origins.

Back when soccer was first introduced in England (around the middle of the 18th century), soccer players could wear any type of shoe on the field. Shoes with plain soles and often used for work are also allowed. Women's shoes with relatively high heels have even been used by men on the green field.

Then, FIFA regulations came out in 1863. One of them reads, "Those who do not use protruding nails, iron plates, or rubber latex on the soles of their shoes are not allowed to play".

The rule gave rise to the passion of cobblers in England and Europe to make special shoes for football. Before the mass industry started, most cobblers made it on a household scale.

In 1895, Joe and Jeff Foster founded JW Foster and Sons in Bolton, England, before changing it to Reebok in 1958. From January 1905, Herman Jansen set up a shoe shop and workshop at his home in the town of Hengelo, in the province of Gelderland, eastern Netherlands.

The shoe industry grew stronger when brothers Adolf and Rudolf Dassler opened a factory under the name Gebruder Dassler Schuhfabrik in 1924. The two brothers finally split in 1947. Adolf formed Adidas and Rudolf founded Puma.

Starting in the 1910s, shoes with the name Cup Final Specials went global thanks to the wooden "teeth" on the bottom to make it easy for players to grip their feet to the ground. The toe of the shoe is made with a woven pattern so that players can easily move their toes while controlling the ball. The shape of the teeth is like a tube with three small sharp-pointed spikes. The player must nail the "hoof" to the sole with a small hammer.

The size of the teeth also varies. Players will choose longer teeth to play on muddy fields so they don't slip easily. One of the duties of the referee and his assistant is to check the soles before the players enter the field. If the shoe teeth are too sharp and protruding, the player is not allowed to enter.
