Memang banyak alasan mengapa seseorang ingin mengapus akun
instagramnya, seperti soal keamanan, merasa jenuh, dan lain sebagainya. Seperti
yang sudah diketahui bersama, bahwa Instagram merupakan salah satu media sosial
yang paling banyak diminati oleh masyarakat saat ini. Hal ini dikarenakan
Instagram bisa memberikan kebebasan seseorang untuk mengunggah foto maupun
video dengan filter-filter yang cantik. Akan tetapi, adakalanya seseorang
merasa jenuh dan bosan serta ingin menghapus akun Instagramnya. Namun perlu
diingat, setelah anda menghapus akun Instagram, anda tidak bisa mendaftar
kembali dengan nama pengguna yang sama dan tidak bisa mengaktifkan ulang akun
yang sudah dihapus tersebut. Lalu bagaimana cara
menghapus akun Instagram tersebut?
1. Masuk Melalui Website Instagram
Pertama-tama log in atau masuk akun Instagram melalui website,
lalu pilih terms atau ketentuan untuk menuju pusat bantuan. Di pusat bantuan
ini anda pilih managing your account atau mengelola akun anda.
2. Pilih Hapus Akun Anda
Pada pilihan tersebut pilih delete your account atau hapus akun.
Setelah itu, anda akan diarahkan menuju pilihan menghapus akun atau deleted
your account. Pada halaman tersebut, anda akan diminta untuk memilih alasan
menghapus akun dan memasukkan kata sandi guna memastikan keputusan tersebut.
3. Hapus Akun Permanen
Langkah yang terakhir, anda pilih hapus akun saya secara permanen
maka akun akan hilang untuk selamanya. Perlu diketahui, bahwa ketentuan untuk
menghapus akun hanya bisa dilakukan oleh pemiliki akun tersebut. Instagram
tidak memiliki hak untuk menghapus akun pengguna secara otomatis. Namun, jika
anda hanya ingin beristirahat sejenak dari Instagram, anda pilih fitur lain
yaitu untuk menonaktifkan akun. Sehingga, anda tidak perlu menghapus akun
Instagramnya.
Cara Menonaktifkan Akun Instagram Sementara
- Pertama masuk ke situs www.instagram.com via
browser dengan menggunakan smarthone, PC atau laptop milik anda.
- Lalu lakukan log ini dan masuk ke halaman profil Instagram anda,
kemudian pilih “Edit Profile”
Kemudian setelah masuk ke halaman “Edit Profile”, lalu scroll
hingga ke bagian bawah. Lalu anda akan menemukan pilihan “Temporarily Disable
My Account” atau “Nonaktifkan Sementara Akun Saya”.
- Lalu pilih salah satu alasan mengapa anda ingin menonaktifkan
akun Instagram.
- Langkah terakhir, masukkan pasword atau kata sandi akun
Instagram anda, lalu klik “Temporarily Disable Account”. Otomatis Instagram
anda pun akan akan dinonaktifkan sementara waktu.
Cara Mengaktifkan Kembali Akun Yang Telah Dinonaktifkan
Sementara
Setelah akun Instagram anda dinonaktifkan untuk sementara waktu,
maka anda bisa mengaktifkannya kembali dengan sangat mudah. Caranya adalah,
cukup dengan log ini pada akun Instagram seperti biasa. Setelah log in, akun
instagram anda secara otomatis bisa aktif kembali dan bisa langsung digunakan
seperti semula.
